Your Questions We’re Happy to Answer

Find clear answers to common questions about our trees, pricing, delivery, and installation. Everything here is meant to help you plan with confidence and avoid surprises.

Do you sell to homeowners or only professionals?

We sell to everyone—homeowners, landscapers, contractors, and landscape architects. All customers receive the same transparent pricing, high-quality trees, and reliable service.

Are your prices really lower than traditional nurseries?

Yes. By sourcing trees directly from farms and eliminating middlemen, we offer healthier trees at significantly lower prices than most traditional nurseries.

Can I see my actual trees before purchasing?

Absolutely. You can visit in person, or we can provide current photos so you know exactly what you’re receiving.

How do you measure tree sizes?

Each tree is measured carefully and sold within a half-foot size range. We don’t “round up” sizes—what you see is what you get.

What types of trees do you sell?

We specialize in privacy trees such as Green Giant Arborvitae, Emerald Green Arborvitae, Skip Laurels, and Boxwoods, and also offer a wide selection of other evergreen and deciduous trees, along with common nursery material..

Do you require a deposit?

No deposit is required, unless its a very large order. Payment is due once your trees are delivered or your project is completed.

Do you offer pickup, delivery, and installation?

Yes. We offer flexible options including on-site pickup, delivery, and installation depending on your project needs.

Who installs the trees?

A licensed and insured landscaping team handles installation, spacing, and placement to support healthy growth and long-term success.

How do I know how many trees I need?

It’s simple—just measure the length of the area you want to screen, and we’ll do the math for you. Share your measurements and preferred spacing, and we’ll calculate the exact number of trees needed for your project.  Send us pictures if you can.

Are your installation prices competitive?

Very! Our installation pricing is designed to be competitive while ensuring professional handling and proper planting practices.

A very low installation quote isn’t always the best value. Lower prices often come with lower-quality trees and shortcuts that can affect long-term growth and performance.

Why are some planting services cheaper elsewhere?

Lower prices often mean corners are cut—such as undersized root balls, rushed handling, or unlicensed installers—which can impact tree health and long-term success.

What areas do you service

We deliver to most areas of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Long Island.  If you’re outside our local area or need large commercial quantities, contact us to discuss options.

What if my order is too small for delivery?

No problem. We can coordinate delivery when we’re already scheduled to be in your area, or you can pick up directly from our yard.

How fast can you install?

Timing depends on location, project size, and scheduling, but our team works efficiently to complete installations as quickly as possible.  As soon as the next day is about a week is typical.  Yes, we work on the weekends!

Who will I communicate with during the project?

You’ll have a dedicated point of contact from start to finish to keep communication clear and your project on track, with regular updates and delivery confirmations.

Do you offer trees beyond evergreens?

Yes. While we specialize in privacy evergreens, we also supply other tree varieties to meet a range of landscaping needs.

When is the best time to prune trees?

Late winter or early spring is ideal for most trees, before new growth begins. Some flowering trees should be pruned after blooming.

When is the best time to plant trees?

Early spring and fall are ideal planting seasons, when cooler temperatures and consistent moisture help trees establish strong root systems. That said, arborvitae are very hardy and can be planted year-round as long as the ground is not frozen.

How far apart should privacy trees be spaced?

Spacing depends on the tree type, size at planting, and how fast you want full coverage. For most arborvitae privacy screens, we typically recommend spacing between 3 and 5 feet on center. Closer spacing creates faster privacy, while wider spacing allows trees to grow larger over time.  We want to balance fast privacy with the long-term health of your trees. Spacing that is too tight can stress trees as they mature, so we help you choose a spacing plan that looks great now and performs well for years to come.
